Tony served in the air force and is a qualified gunsmith. He is also a Qualified Outdoor Field Instructor and Group Training Facilitator. Along with various management roles in other companies this has engendered an ethos and attention to detail necessary for running a security company such as this. Tony is also a Trainer and Assessor in all levels of Security
Our Team
Our team is not made up of corporate departments; we are an operational management team that leads from the front. We train our guards to excel in management roles throughout the security industry; and support their skill base sets that they bring to our company, we are proud to be able to inspire our staff in their roles
Janine Anderson
Administration Manager

Janine came to VR Security in 2009 as a casual security guard. This has lead to full time employment as the current Administration Manager since 2015. Janine’s previous employment has been with local government in the finance department which included liaising with all levels of management and internal/external clients. Janine has acquired NZQA National Certificate Security Level 2 and is also a Trainer and Assessor certified by the Skills Organisation in Security.
John Gardner
Operations Manager

John came to VR Security in 2008 also as a casual security guard. John is our operations manager and has developed an extensive background in security. John has experience in martial arts, is also a security technician and a man of many trades. John has NZQA National Certificate Security Level 2 and is currently studying Level 3.
